The
Premier Swedish Yacht
Preserver
of tradition and innovators: this is how the Najad Boatyard views itself.
In a town with shipbuilding traditions dating back to the days of the
Vikings, Najad produces exceedingly seaworthy yachts - yachts that can
take their owners anywhere on Earth.
Tradition
and craftsmanship pervade the details that have made the Najad name known
throughout the world. The comfort of the yachts is the result of decades
of dialogue with devoted Najad owners. The lines and sailing characteristics
of the Najad yachts show the Company's vision.
Advanced
design leads to innovation based on tradition.
Each Najad
is built to withstand any weather, regardless of which ocean or latitude
to be crossed. No effort is spared to achieve the highest possible level
of comfort. From the overall design down to the perfection of the smallest
detail, a Najad should be a secure home for long periods at sea or in
the marina. Only the best will do!
The Najad
Boatyard is one of the most modern in the world. High tech is combined
with high touch, while modern machinery works hand in hand with highly
skilled craftsmen and women. Najad has built over 1800 yachts since 1971.
The boatyard is located in Henan, on the island of Orust, on the west
coast of Sweden.
Each yacht
is designed and built to Germanischer Lloyd's specifications for 'GL100
A5'. Each yacht is independently inspected during the construction process,
which includes the hull, deck, superstructure, main bulkheads, engine
bed, chain plate attachments and stem fittings as well as plumbing and
installation of engine, electrical and electronic equipment. A Germanisher
Lloyd's certificate and plaquette is supplied with each boat.
Every Najad
is classified according to the CE rule 'Boat Category A-Ocean'.
Choosing
a Najad is a lot more than an investment in craftmanship, quality, seaworthiness
and good resale value.
Choosing
a Najad also reflects your own personality and secures an ownership where
design and functionality brings you happiness and visibility wherever
the journey is set to go.
