A rare work of art and piece of sailing history, Belle was built in 1999 at the renowned boatyard of Devlin Designing Boat Builders to the design of the late Phil Bolger.  A boat that to have built again at his yard, would cost well over $120,000!  This was the only Bolger designed St. Valery Schooner that was ever built. As is typical with Sharpies, Belle is shoal draft and water ballasted.  The epoxy/wood composite construction (stitch and glue) gives Belle the beauty and charm of a wooden boat with the durability and low maintenance of fiberglass. Belle truly offers you the best of both worlds
